How to be Happy?

Have you ever noticed kids? How they always keep running? They just do not walk, they always run. They always have sweet little arguments with their fellows, but at the end of the day, they are together because they care more about being happy more than they care about their pride.

What is Happiness?

Possibly the best way to start on the topic ‘How to be happier?’ is just to know about the definition of it.

Often people take happiness in the same sense as that of pleasure but this isn’t the case. Happiness is a wider term and pleasure is just a part of it. Just consider the following few examples for understanding the difference between happiness and pleasure.

  1. Eating ice cream in hot weather gives us pleasure, however, eating your favorite ice cream in hot weather is what happiness is.
  2. Talking to your friend gives you pleasure but talking to your best friend gives you happiness.
  3. Doing a job with higher perks gives you pleasure but working on your favorite job gives you happiness.

So, it can be concluded that happiness is totally a different term with a different meaning.

When life fulfills all your needs according to your own taste and own requirements.

However, the perfect combination of happiness is hard to achieve but it isn’t impossible because somehow we all find ourselves in a place where we totally enjoy ourselves or we are fully satisfied with our needs. The second important aspect is to know what happiness stands for. The word itself speaks a lot as this single word contains a huge meaning in itself. As

  • ‘H’ stands for HOPES
  • ‘A’ stands for AIM
  • ‘P’ stands for POWER
  • ‘P’ stands for PRIDE
  • ‘I’ stands for INTEREST
  • ‘N’ stands for NATURAL
  • ‘E’ stands for ENERGETIC
  • ‘S’ stands for SATISFACTION
  • ‘S’ stands for SUCCESS

Now, the question arises :

WHAT ARE THE PRE-REQUISITES FOR INDUCING YOUR HAPPINESS?

I believe that happiness is a state of mind, a choice and a way of life and with that said I believe there are some requisites for inducing happiness which is as follows:-

1. GOOD HEALTH:

We all have heard the phrase that “Health is Wealth”. And this phrase is quite true because if we are having good health then we are having a good life too.

2. FORGIVENESS:

The other important thing is FORGIVENESS. Every person must have the capability to forgive others so that they can move on in their lives. However, if we don’t forgive others and hold a grudge for a longer period then it surely acts as an obstacle in our way towards happiness.

3. KINDNESS:

Kindness is another key to induce happiness. As if we are kind towards others and are grateful for everything in our life then nobody can stop us from achieving happiness and joy.

4. STABILITY:

One needs to be stable throughout his/her life in order to achieve happiness. If stability is absent then we will not be able to keep a balance between our needs and breaks.

5. SMILE:

The solution to every problem in our lives is a SMILE.

I strongly believe that just by having a positive smile on our faces, we all can overcome any hurdles in our lives. Even if we are in a bad mood we all should smile for at least two minutes and after that, you all can see the POWER of the smile yourselves.

SO, NOW BE HAPPY NOT BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS GOOD, BUT BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE GOOD IN EVERYTHING AND THERE ARE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL REASONS TO BE HAPPY.
